Friday 25 October 2019 | 1:40pm - 3:10pm
Delegates are presented with the opportunity to learn how our city feels, by building and using low-cost environmental sensors.
We will begin by assembling ‘back-pack sensors’, and embark on a data collecting journey, traversing our CBD and coastal esplanade on bicycles, sensing our urban environment.
At our cities sustainability office you will learn how to build your own low-cost environmental sensors from 2 of the cities brightest young innovators. These young minds are paving the way into the future, integrating sustainability with technology and culture. Building resilience and bringing along their peers, and others to measure and understand their environment.
So please come along and undertake a journey with our sustainability team.
